How to make your booking?

First Contact

  • Contact ourcabana@ourcabana.org.mx  with your details and the event you would like to attend or the dates you would like to stay. Please, specify your name, number of people that will be coming with you, the name and dates of the event.
  • Receive confirmation from our Event Administrator that the number of spaces you require are available. We will make a tentative booking for your travel group and you will have two months to send the Registration Form.  
  • Download, complete and send the Registration Form.                                         
  • Make the deposit of the Registration Fee and wait for our confirmation and booking code. The registration fee is non refundable or credited to any other fee.
  • Read our booking terms and conditions and the Trip Planning Guide.

Second contact

  • Six months before your event our event administrator will send you the Balance sheet with the amount of money that you need to deposit 6 months in advance. If the numbers in your group change, please notify the event administrator before this time by completing and sending the Numbers Change Form
  • Cancellation. If for any reason you decide to cancel your trip to Mexico and Our Cabaña, please complete and send the Cancellation Form to us.

Third contact

  • Approximately four months before your event we will contact you once again to share:

Program Information:

  • Draft of the program, service project letter, international festival letter, Mexican Fiesta invitation, wish list and optional activity letter.

General Information and Forms.

  • You will receive a general information letter with information about Mexico and Our Cabaña and how to get ready for your trip. There will be a set of Forms that members in your travel group need to complete and then you need to send to us in the specify time.

This information and forms are also available in our website. Please visit the section "Getting Ready for your Event" and Events Forms and start getting ready before we contact you.

Fourth Contact

Patrols/Dormitories

  • Our Event Administrator will contact you to see the best way to accommodate your group in the different dormitories at Our Cabaña. We work with a patrol system mixing members from each visiting group with different patrols to enable true international friendship to develop.
  • Adults and girls have different accommodations. Girls 13 to 18 will be divided into dormitories/patrols, usually, by ages and nationalities.
  • Adults (18+) will be also divided into dormitories/patrols by nationalities.
  • It is very important that you share with us which members of your group want to stay together and who in a different room. We try to accommodate all needs, when possible. 

Travel Arrengements

  • We will share with you how the transportation from Mexico City/Airport to Our Cabaña is going to be organized. At what time the different travel groups will be arriving to the Centre, etc.
  • Visit our section How to get to Our Cabaña to learn about the different options to travel from Mexico City/Airport to Our Cabaña.
