Puebla and Cholula

Traduction à suivre

Puebla is Mexico’s 4th largest city and is approximately 3 hours from Our Cabaña by bus.

Puebla is famous for its Tala Vera Pottery and its traditional Mexican dish called "Mole" which is a chicken dish with a spicy, chili chocolate sauce.

Puebla has a famous arts and crafts market called El Parian which has plenty of things to look at and buy. There are traditional crafts specifically from the local area, made by local art workers.

About 1/2 an  hour from Puebla is Cholula which is home to the largest pyramid in the Americas. It doesn’t appear that way as it is covered in a grassy mound and has the beautiful church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios situated on the top. There are tunnels built underneath and also a museum. Cholula is said to have more churches in the town than days of the year.
